Guide: Searching and Filtering Photos in Infiry

This guide will show you how to quickly find the photos you need in Infiry using the search bar and advanced filters.

Searching Photos

  1. Use the Search bar at the top of your gallery.
  2. Type a keyword — for example, coffee.
  3. Infiry will search through photo descriptions and keywords to display matching results instantly.

Filtering Photos

Filters allow you to narrow down your photo selection based on various criteria.

  • By Author: Select one or multiple photographers. Click a name again to remove it.
  • By Orientation: Choose between landscape or portrait. Click the cross (×) to clear the selection.
  • By Dominant Colors: Pick one or multiple colors (e.g., purple) to find photos featuring those tones.
  • By Favorites: View only photos marked with a star.
  • By Department: Display photos belonging to a specific team, such as Marketing.
  • By City: Filter photos taken in a particular city, e.g., Hamburg.
  • By Country: Use this if you only know the country, not the exact city.
  • By License: See how photos can be used based on their license type.
  • By Date Range: Select a start and end date (e.g., February) to display photos taken or edited in that period.

Combining Filters and Sorting

You can combine multiple filters to refine your results even further — perfect for large photo libraries.
Additionally, you can sort photos by:

  • Date Edited
  • Date Taken
    (from oldest to newest or vice versa)
